Margret Hardardottir is Managing Director and is responsible for product development, strategy and fundraising. Prior to joining Lateral, Mags was the Director of Investor Relations at private equity real estate firm with $800 million in assets under management, focused on multi-family and senior housing strategies. Before that she worked at Bainbridge Capital, a middle-market M&A advisory firm based in La Jolla, California. She serves on the board of the Icelandic-American Chamber of Commerce.

Gunnar Birgisson is an attorney with extensive experience in the energy sector, particularly with development of wind, solar, and other renewable energy projects and associated transmission infrastructure. Gunnar worked for 15 years as counsel for NextEra Energy, Inc. in Washington, DC., representing the largest renewable energy development company in the U.S. in project development, policy advocacy, regulatory compliance, contract negotiation, and dispute resolution. Previously, Gunnar worked in law firms in Washington, DC. He is a graduate of Duke University School of Law, the University of California at Berkeley, and Menntaskólinn við Hamrahlíð.

Grimur Gislason has worked for Icelandair for the past 11 years in various roles, starting as the airline’s Global Brand Manager at corporate headquarters in Reykjavík. In 2015, Grimur took on the role of Marketing Manager for Continental Europe based in Frankfurt, covering Belgium, France, Germany, The Netherlands and Switzerland. The following year, he transitioned to the Sales Department, taking on the role of Sales Manager for Germany and Switzerland. Grimur then returned to Iceland in 2017 as the Director of Sales and Marketing for Air Iceland Connect, the domestic and regional subsidiary of Icelandair, before heading to Boston with his wife and three sons to lead Icelandair‘s North American operation as Director North America.

Prior to being named CEO, Jesse served in a variety of senior leadership roles over his 12-year career at Century, including as Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel. Prior to joining Century in 2010, Mr. Gary practiced law at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz in New York. Mr. Gary received his B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley and his J.D. from Cornell Law School.

Einar Gustafsson joined American Seafoods as Chief Executive Officer in February 2022. A longtime seafood and fresh foods leader with extensive experience developing and growing worldwide seafood organizations, Einar will return to his roots at American Pride Seafoods nearly two decades ago. Einar served previously as CEO, Americas and Europe for Gong Cha, one of the most recognized worldwide bubble tea brands. Prior to that Gustafsson was Managing Director at Bakkavor Assia, where for 15 years he led all aspects of the $2 billion fresh prepared food group´s entry into the Asian markets. Alfheidur serves as Vice President of Finance at CDS Logistics, a nationwide logistics company. She is also a member of the investment committee at Black Diamond Financial, LLC, a registered investment advisory firm. She previously held senior executive positions with Capitol Investment Corp., a public investment firm where she was involved in deploying over $13 billion of capital and completed four IPOs. Alfheidur served as a consultant to Lindblad Expeditions following Capitol’s investment, supporting the company’s M&A, corporate development, capital raising and investor relations activities. Prior to Capitol, Alfie was a Vice President with Quadrangle Group LLC, a private equity firm focused on the media and telecommunications sectors. Prior to joining Quadrangle, she held the role of Vice President in Citigroup’s investment banking division in New York and earlier was an Analyst with British Sky Broadcasting in London.

Gylfi Sigfússon, born in 1961 has been in a management role for Eimskip Group and related companies for 33 years. He was appointed CEO/President of the Eimskip Group in May 2008 and was leading the group for 11 years and currently he is the CEO/President of the Eimskip Group in North America. Before taking on the position of the CEO and President of the Eimskip Group, Gylfi managed Eimskip Americas 2006 – 2008 overseeing all of Eimskip’s transport operations in the United States of America and Canada. He was the CEO of Eimskip Logistics in USA from 2000 to 2006 and was the Executive Vice President of Ambrosio Shipping in USA from 1996 to 2000. Gylfi was the Executive Vice President of Marketing and Operations at Tollvörugeymslan hf. in Iceland, now TVG-Zimsen ehf., from 1990 to 1996.
